Hi! I'm glad you found my blog. I want to share with you some neat phrases and descriptions I've found in my reading, plus a little bit of inspiration.
My goal is to post on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Warning: Many of my examples will be from secular science fiction, so I hope you're a fan. I also do not necessarily endorse the books from which I quote.
Feel free to comment on these. Choose your favorite! Share your favorite phrases from other sources!
The purpose of my posts is to give you a springboard for your own fabulous writing. Please do not copy these phrases into your WIP. There may be a plagiarism problem, and you want your phrases to be in your own voice.
I'm a writer.
My heart is in science fiction, but I sold sixty-seven devotions before I wrote novels. I completed a science thriller, now contracted with Harbourlight of Pelican Book Group. My current project is a science fiction novel that answers that age-old question, "Do aliens need God?"
My agent is Steve Hutson of WordWise Media.
When I'm not writing, I enjoy reading (mostly science fiction), cooking, Sudoku puzzles, and hanging out with other writers, sci-fi fans, and Mad Scientists.
I volunteer one afternoon a week at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
I've been married 29 years to John, an electrical engineer and Mad Scientist who owns a 2,300-pound electromagnet and plays with lasers for a living.
